If you’ve found a piece that you’re interested in, use the handy comment section below to contact us. All pieces on display during our month long shows typically have to stay on display for the duration of the exhibition.
Once the closing date nears, we’ll contact you and arrange to deliver the piece(s) to you on the day the show comes down or a mutually agreeable day.
For our weekly events where we have someone sitting during the day to assist people, we can typically wrap up your piece that day, process your payment (we can accept Visa, Mastercard, Cheques with ID and yes we still accept cash, although we may not have change…) and you can take it that day.
Your priority is to continue to create more beautiful artwork, but it doesn’t stop there, we do need a bit more out of you.
We require a list of pieces you’ll be providing for our show (Artistic Entities will provide spreadsheets and additional information to assist us in having all the required information for you), sizes of your pieces and properly framed, wired and backed pieces (if you have questions about this, please contact us for tips and suggestions).
Just as importantly we require the artists to either be available to drop off and pick up their pieces on show open and close dates or to have individuals who can assist them with the pick up and delivery of pieces to the show. Often we have extra show items and deliveries to make before and after the shows so we simply don’t have room to pack up your pieces as well and we don’t want to leave them unattended in public areas where they could disappear, so this is a priority of showing with us.
Our priority for you will be to hang the pieces as to best display them in an artistic and pleasing manner for the viewers. Sometimes this means not having all your pieces together, but where we can, we try to group your pieces.
Artistic Entities will find these various venues and do the marketing where applicable and we’ll do all the back end (and front end work) of providing price tags, signage, display grids and easels, hanging apparatus and more. We’ll also handle the full transaction for you including credit card, cheque or cash processing and usually delivery of the piece(s).
For this Artistic Entities will charge a 20% fee based on the sale price of the piece. We also charge a small hanging fee of $1 per square foot (most artists end up paying $5-$10 to display multiple pieces with us). We feel both of these are extremely fair for our artists as it allows them to get seen with minimal costs to them and when they sell they get to keep the majority of the sale price for themselves.
